Mark started with Club Serenity as a response to his life becoming unmanageable due to his alcoholism and addiction. Mark’s core belief is that kindness and compassion are the most important tools in overcoming any challenge. He is committed wholeheartedly to Club Serenity's mission, holding dual roles as President and Treasurer and volunteering at Club Serenity, Inc since 2008. Mark's enthusiasm for spreading the love and hope that he has discovered on his journey to recovery grows with each sober, clean sunrise. Mark's recreational interests include fishing, golfing, and other outdoor activities. He has relished affection from his loving wife since 1982, with his family wholeheartedly supporting his dedication to Club Serenity. Mark cherishes each day with profound gratitude for his present existence. He uses this gratitude to assist those still suffering, employing love and kindness as healing instruments.

Joey Pagano
Once a guiding light for Club Serenity, Inc., Joey helped sow the seeds of change, nurtured growth, of this non-profit during his tenure until the current President, Mark St. Cyr took over. His journey with Club Serenity ignited the spark for social work that would become an enduring flame in his heart. Now, after a hiatus of five years, he is back where it all started, ready to serve, express his profound gratitude for the club, and reconnect with his roots.
In the intervening years, Joey has established himself as an acclaimed author. Not only is he a #1 Best-Selling sensation, but he is also a contender for the prestigious Pulitzer Prize. His literary prowess is exemplified in his deeply personal and insightful discussions on the clinical intricacies of recovery and social work.
Adding to his remarkable portfolio, Joey is an enthusiastic educator on an academic journey toward a Doctorate of Social Work (DSW). His professional canvas is rich with years of commitment as a mental health and drug and alcohol therapist. As a licensed social worker (LSW), his credentials are further bolstered by his certification as a recovery, family, and forensic specialist, marking a decade-long, transformative journey in the field.
His collective experiences and achievements now culminate in his role as Clinical Director of Club Serenity, Inc. Joey's unique blend of personal, professional, and academic prowess provides a dynamic and comprehensive perspective to his leadership, inspiring those around him as he continues to serve the organization that once kindled his passion for social work.

Jodie Pagano
Jodie is an individual who is proudly in sustained recovery. She attributes a significant portion of her renewal and rehabilitation to Club Serenity. The community at Club Serenity has not only helped her rebuild her life, but they have also guided her on a path of rediscovery and renewed purpose.
Jodie is advancing her academic knowledge by pursuing a bachelor's degree in social work at PennWest California. Her unique blend of experience and academic education provides her with a profound understanding of substance abuse and mental health.
Jodie will be undertaking the position of Funding Administrator at Club Serenity in order to give back to the organization that played such an instrumental role in her recovery. This role aligns well with her passion and will facilitate her ability to further the organization's mission.
